GDI Review / Global Domains International Review

Global Domains International (GDI) is webhost provider with an affiliate program that allows its users to make money by promoting the services of this website. When signing in for the website one is presented with a video presentation trying to convince of the wonders of using this program.

The video presentation is filled with grandiose claims of making more than 3000$ per month through their referral program. Their referral program works a lot like a pyramid scheme; it is nice to be on the top, not so nice to be on the bottom. Moreover, they provide a lot of misinformation. For instance, they claim that investment is needed, and that you do not need to worry about making the sales; however, this is simply not true. For starters if you want to join this program you must pay 10$, the first 7 days are for free, but after that you need to pay monthly. There is no way you can yield any result in 7 days, unless you have a huge network of people at your disposal. Thus, making the 7 day trial pretty useless. Furthermore, you do need actively work in making sales, regardless of the claims given by the website. Let us say that you open a new account, for at least 7 weeks it will not register in the major search engines. Therefore, nobody will know you are on the web for 7 weeks unless you actually promote yourself online, and that by itself can be quite daunting.

Their deception is such that they even put a paycheck as way to sign in for their services. This is just misleading, as it makes people think that they too can make money quickly. Also, once you finish the registration process and confirm your payment options, you will be given your very own website, which looks exactly the same as all the other websites given to the new affiliates. To be fair though, they do allow you to tweak the website and customize to your liking. In the website you will find the same silly presentation one has to watch when signing up, and you will also find affiliate forms for people who want to join the program.

In this snapshot one can see what the website looks like. It isn't too bad in my opinion, but one must still make it popular in order to be successful. Moreover, I am not the only one who thinks this is misleading, according to blogger Rob Fore, in his article; Global Domains International Scam Review by Top Producer Who Quit. He claims that the biggest challenge to make a real income is to recruit other people to become active distributors so that you referral list can grow and you can earn money independent of your time and money. Also, other people have pointed out that not once they have ever seen .ws website in the top 10 results of Google. Leading one to believe that this company is not very popular, and people do not regarded as an outstanding webhost provider.

All in all I would not recommend this service, neither to make money nor to use as a webhost provider. I find them to be very misleading, especially when during their video presentation. Also they promise things that are simply not true and the pray upon the desperation people have, especially in this hard economic times. If you still want to give it a try here is a link where you can join and become one of my referrals. However, I want to be clear that I do not think this is a good way to make money. Please leave your comments, suggestions, and which company you would like me to review next?
