The Truth About Making Money Online

If you do a quick Google search about the failure rate of online businesses you will find that most people claim that, in general, start-ups do not succeed. At first, it seemed like a reasonable statement; however, I began to question this assertion when I realized I could not find any sources to verify such claims. Moreover, it seems counter-intuitive that if most online businesses fail; then why is it still a growing industry?

By no means I am trying to imply that earning a steady income online is easy. However, I do think that if somebody makes such a bold claim they should back it up; furthermore, people who make these kind of statements, usually also want to sell you their newest way to make money online. To be honest, I do not know if most new business online fail. I am sure many of them do. What I do know is that there is a growing trend that has taken many new forms in the last few years in online business world (Rauch, J. 2012).

In his article You Inc, J. Rauch describes how some people have begun to build careers on multitasking online. He calls them solopreneurs, and gives an example of a blogger/ghostwriter/coach who combines her different skills online in order to earn a living. He also describes how these solopreneurs rely heavily on branding and reputation, comparing it to a conglomerate that revolves around the self. In other words, people online are advertising themselves as brands, so that they can sell their skills and knowledge to the public. Most of these new business offer personal and professional services such as; social media promotion, business coaching, writing, financial guidance and web design (Rauch, J. 2012).

Another interesting paper is from the Journal of Business Studies, where they explored the business models of 69 journalistic online-only start-ups in 2011-2012 in ten countries operating a sustainable niche (Cook, C., &; Sirkkunen, E. 2013). They found that start-ups often work their way ahead by combining an adapting different revenue models into their business as a way for seeking sustainability in a competitive market situation. Additionally, they explore the idea of a niche and according to their findings; a niche is not limited to narrow-interest content serving to a specific-interest audience. Rather, a niche could also be the customization of content and service propositions that move beyond traditional methods of delivery.

Overall, I would suggest not to be discouraged to start your own venture online. Though, there may be many difficulties along the way; the same thing happens in the offline world. Also, I would like to point out the importance increasing one's human capital. The more skill we attain the better we will be able to provide our services online. Another important point is to build one's reputation; branding is an important part of any online business, so attaining consumer loyalty is crucial. Lastly, do not be afraid to explore new ideas; niches do not have to be limited to providing obscure content for an obscure audience, instead the niche could be the way or method in which you deliver content. As difficult as one might think it might be it is possible to make a living online, and many people continue to do so. Moreover, starting an online venture usually does not involve large amount of initial investment; therefore, if one fails the cost is not so high and you could probably just try it again.

Paidcoin Is A Scam, Do Not Use Their Services

The website paidcoin.com is a scam and I do not recommend people to use their services. I did research on them before I began writing this post, and the results have been abysmal. According to whois.domaintools.com they registered their domain on April 3 of last year, and their expiration date is set for April 3 2014. That is in less than three weeks! However, they may renew their account and continue for another year.

In websites like Webutation and WOT (Web Of Trust) they rank quite poorly, and many people have commented about their failure to complete payments. There is even a Facebook group called "PAIDCOIN IS A SCAM!!!" which I recommend you should check, I will leave a link at the end of the post so you can visit them. Moreover, in scam.com there are some users even claiming to have reported them to Facebook and other social media networks, and that this website is now red-listed. However, this may not be true as it may have just been venting from a frustrated user. Finally, I would like to add a personal note; they are very deceptive and the will try to mislead you in order to take your money.

Let us take a look at how their website works and how they might try to deceive you. First, when you join their website you will be given a few options on how to earn coins. You can make referrals by bringing in new users, or you can click "like" on various Facebook groups in order to earn a small amount of coins. The latter is by far the easiest and quickest one. Once you have made a certain amount you may exchange your coins for cash, or you can use them to advertise your Facebook group. You may also add coins by buying them, which I did, I spent 1$ to get more coins and I received in exchange nothing. That is right folks, nothing, nada. Thus, making me seriously believe that this is a scam and they just want to get your money. Also when you look at my account you will see there is nothing in the transaction history. Nevertheless, the 1$ sure is gone from my Paypal, what a waste. Moreover, when you look at the website, they place buttons in a very misleading way. For example they have an option to convert your coins to cash, but when you click on it you are taken to the page to buy coins (add funds page), so if you are not careful, or do not read properly, you may end up paying them instead of them paying you!

In conclusion, stay away from this website. They have cheated me and they have cheated many others. Do not use their services. I spent 1$ there so you don't have to, and also be careful of their newest project ADVPromote. I have not reviewed this yet, but I would be very cautious given their track record. If you disagree, you may leave your hate message at the bottom. Also, suggest which company or service you would like me to do next.

Is MoneyCroc Legitimate?

There is the website called moneycroc.com and they claim you can earn 50$ by playing their game. They advertise it as free money; however, you do need to spend time, and for some people this has meant even months of trying. Of course, they have probably made a large return through all the advertisement, so probably giving out 50$ is not such a big deal for them.

Moneycroc began over two years ago, and currently it ranks fairly well on the web. A couple of Google searches and one can find numerous positive reviews and many people claiming to have won the 50$ prize. Moreover, services such as Google SafeBrowsing and ThreatLog have not blacklisted this site. Therefore, it should be safe to visit and free of any trojans or malware. Nevertheless, in terms of reliability they do not get a high score from me.

Let me make an appeal to your reasoning and analyse how they make money and what incentives do they have for giving out prizes. The only way for them to earn an income is through advertisement, this is because they do not have any registrations or fees or anything like that. You just play the game in order to win the cash prizes, and as you play the game the page gets refreshed; thus, making some money for the website. There is a maximum of 50 tries per day, so if you played the game 50 times you probably helped them earn around 30$ - 50$  (assuming they get 50 cents - 1$ per click). Therefore, making it very unlikely that they have high incentives for people to win. Their main incentive is for people to play, not to win, besides if people started winning more prizes the whole thing would become unsustainable, or at the very least, not very profitable. This can be substantiated by the some of the negative reviews moneycroc has received, and some people have pointed out that it took them months to win, and even if they won they did not receive a prize.

One such case can be found on Webutations.org, where there is an interesting comment made by an user named TimS15. He claims that "I had been doing it for a few months and not won anything which is no big deal in itself but when another Facebook user posted on their Facebook page asking how many tries it took some guyto win I replied saying I had been doing it for months with no luck, moneycroc then deleted my comment and banned me from posting on their Facebook page, why would they do that if they had nothing to hide? seems a very sinister thing to do over an innocent comment on a Facebook page! the whole Facebook page looks very scripted with only good comments and reviews allowed so please beware of this site."

It is not surprising that he mentions not winning for many months. As we expected it probably takes quite some time to win a prize. Moreover, he pointed out something very interesting about the way they monitor their Facebook page. This is not something new, in the past many have censored controvert comments or bad remarks about a company or services in order to hide any form of negative publicity. Furthermore, using Facebook one can easily approve or delete comments, making it even easier for them to only leave the good reviews.

Overall, I would not recommend this service as it is unlike that you will win. Also, you can try to leave a bad comment on the Facebook page to see if they delete it. If you disagree we my opinion, you may troll me in the comments below and suggest which company or service you would like me to review next.

GDI Review / Global Domains International Review

Global Domains International (GDI) is webhost provider with an affiliate program that allows its users to make money by promoting the services of this website. When signing in for the website one is presented with a video presentation trying to convince of the wonders of using this program.

The video presentation is filled with grandiose claims of making more than 3000$ per month through their referral program. Their referral program works a lot like a pyramid scheme; it is nice to be on the top, not so nice to be on the bottom. Moreover, they provide a lot of misinformation. For instance, they claim that investment is needed, and that you do not need to worry about making the sales; however, this is simply not true. For starters if you want to join this program you must pay 10$, the first 7 days are for free, but after that you need to pay monthly. There is no way you can yield any result in 7 days, unless you have a huge network of people at your disposal. Thus, making the 7 day trial pretty useless. Furthermore, you do need actively work in making sales, regardless of the claims given by the website. Let us say that you open a new account, for at least 7 weeks it will not register in the major search engines. Therefore, nobody will know you are on the web for 7 weeks unless you actually promote yourself online, and that by itself can be quite daunting.

Their deception is such that they even put a paycheck as way to sign in for their services. This is just misleading, as it makes people think that they too can make money quickly. Also, once you finish the registration process and confirm your payment options, you will be given your very own website, which looks exactly the same as all the other websites given to the new affiliates. To be fair though, they do allow you to tweak the website and customize to your liking. In the website you will find the same silly presentation one has to watch when signing up, and you will also find affiliate forms for people who want to join the program.

In this snapshot one can see what the website looks like. It isn't too bad in my opinion, but one must still make it popular in order to be successful. Moreover, I am not the only one who thinks this is misleading, according to blogger Rob Fore, in his article; Global Domains International Scam Review by Top Producer Who Quit. He claims that the biggest challenge to make a real income is to recruit other people to become active distributors so that you referral list can grow and you can earn money independent of your time and money. Also, other people have pointed out that not once they have ever seen .ws website in the top 10 results of Google. Leading one to believe that this company is not very popular, and people do not regarded as an outstanding webhost provider.

All in all I would not recommend this service, neither to make money nor to use as a webhost provider. I find them to be very misleading, especially when during their video presentation. Also they promise things that are simply not true and the pray upon the desperation people have, especially in this hard economic times. If you still want to give it a try here is a link where you can join and become one of my referrals. However, I want to be clear that I do not think this is a good way to make money. Please leave your comments, suggestions, and which company you would like me to review next?

My Experience With Cash4Offers.com

Cash4Offers is your typical website where you can fill in surveys and make money by completing their cash offers. To be fair they do not promise on their homepage that you will become rich or make 300$ per month; nonetheless, they do have some misleading testimonies, and for all we know, they could have been written by the owners of the website.

When you join this website you will find four main ways to earn money; reading paid emails, referring a friend, playing online games, and taking paid surveys. Reading emails is not always functional depending on the region you are in. Referral programs I think we all know how they work, and it does not need explanation. Playing online games seems appealing; however, is just actually playing in an online casino, so no crazy rpg or nice fps. Lastly, the paid surveys yield around 50 cents per survey and they usually take around 10 minutes to fill in. So you can spend many hours completing surveys and actually don't make that much money.

There is yet another method which is not advertise in their homepage and that is completing their paid offers. Usually they consist of downloading an e-book or a software after completing a survey or completing an offer. Once you have done this you can download the e-book and earn 8$. It seems like a pretty sweet deal, if only it would actually work. I have already attempted to earn 8$ through this method to no avail. The reason being that I never received the link to download the e-book after I had completed all that was required from me.  Even though I was promised I would receive an email with a link in my mailbox; I never received anything. Not even in my spam folder. Thus, leading me to question the transparency of this website, and whether or not they deliberately withhold payments to make more money. Of course when one looks at their F.A.Q. one will find that they claim not to be responsible for awarding the money; nevertheless, there is no way we can verify that.

As you can see from the snapshot, I completed all steps necessary and to download the E-book, and the website is telling me (in Dutch) that I should wait 5 minutes and I will receive an email in mailbox with the link. Well this never happened, and of course, I could not earn the 8$. This did not happen once, nor twice, but three time! So out of frustration I decided not to try anymore and I advice you to do the same.

If you do wish to join this rather frustrating website you can do so through the link below. I personally do not recommend this site; however, if you still want to give it a shot and help a fellow blogger, then just click the link below and you will become one of my referrals. Leave comments with your experiences and suggest which company you want me to review next.

Weird way to make money / HappyMiner.com

Happy Miner / www.happyminer.com

This is a rather interesting method to make money. It consists of playing a game called Happy Miner, which is a very simple game where you "mine" gold, and increase your happy gold count. There is nothing you can do to accelerate the process of mining gold, the only thing that you can do is wait until you have sufficient gold. However, mining takes extremely long, and I estimate that it takes more than a decade to gain a substantial amount of gold. You can buy new miners in order to increase the rate of production; the problem is, it costs 5995 happy gold to get a new miner. Curiously enough, accounts with large amounts of gold can be traded for substantial amounts of money.

One way to trade accounts is through www.virtaex.com, which is a website specialized in trading video-game accounts. In there you can find the price list of people selling their own Happy Miner's account. As you can see from the snapshots you can buy accounts for 10$ to 20$, wait until you increase your gold count and sell it for a higher price. Prices can go really high, especially when we are talking about more than 6000 gold.

Here is the price list of the most expensive accounts. As you can see they can go quite high; thus, making this a potential investment to make some serious extra money. Nevertheless, it is important to note that there will be a waiting period, between the time one makes the initial investment and the time of finally reselling the account for a profit.

In the coming weeks I will be buying an account for around 10$, I will post my experience here, and I will keep you updated in the months to come as to whether or not this actually works. Until then I recommend to not invest your money on this until I can confirm this is legit. Leave your comments and suggestions in the bar below, and stay tune for more updates.

My experience in get-paid.com

Hello internet world, today I will review a rather popular website that promises its users can make up to 200$ extra per month. Of course, after hearing such a claim I had to check it out for myself. In this link http://www.get-paid.com/index.php you will find an introductory video making the aforementioned claims. Also, on their homepage you will see this diagrams trying to convince you how easy is to make money using their services.

As you can see from the snapshot they describe their services in 3 easy steps.

First register, then earn coins through all the different methods, and lastly cash in your coins. Easy enough isn't it? Well no, I actually tried it and it is not as easy as it looks. So far I have been able to make a couple of coins through watching videos, which is probably the easiest way to earn coins. However, there is a limited amount of videos per day; thus, limiting your capacity to earn easy coins. There is also a toolbar you can download, and if you use it you can also earn easy coins. Nevertheless, if you are like me, and you live in Western Europe this toolbar will not be available; therefore, further limiting your ability to make extra cash.

There are also other ways to make coins; such as games, surveys and tasks. Nonetheless, in my opinion, the main method is through completing the offers they give you. In this snapshot you can see some of the offers and how many coins you will earn. For example; as you can see there is an offer for lexa.nl (a dating website), in which you can make 250 coins. I completed the registration and still did not receive my coins. This is because the registration process does not allow you to earn coins until you actually become a paying member. So just opening a free account is not enough.  The cost to become a member for one month in this website is 25 euros, so actually you will lose money in this transaction, as the amount of coins is not nearly enough to recover the money spent.

Let us take a look a the payout options they got. They have many more options

like Amazon and Western Union, but I decided to take a look at the paypal options since it is one of the most common ways to transact money online. The minimum amount is 2500 coins which equates to 5$. Not much eh? Considering that we would have to spend 25 euros in order to make 250 coins; as mentioned in the previous paragraph. It becomes clear that this is actually not a very good way to make an income. Surely you can make some residual income, but I highly doubt that you will make 200$ extra per month. Lastly, I want to take a brief look at their referral system. This is very common way to earn money, by duping your friends into joining this website you can make some extra cash as referrals. I suppose that if you get many referrals you can earn a more substantial amount of money; however, I do not think is nice tricking your friends and family into a website that is so dishonest, that they claim on their homepage that you can just make 200$ extra per month with little to no effort.

At the bottom of this page you will find a link if you wish to join get-paid.com under my name. This means, that you will become my referral and hopefully help me make some money. However, I want to make it perfectly clear that I do not recommend this website, if you wish to join, do not expect to make millions! Join because, you want to get cheaper products or offers, or simply to help a fellow blogger. But do not join expecting to become rich. Please leave your comments below, and suggest which company you would like me to review next. Thanks.

paid surveys

Welcome to Sur0H / IPDN review

First of all, let us start with a brief introduction of who I am. I am just a student trying to finish his degree and pay his bill. I have always been curious about how to make money online, and the most I have made was 10 bucks. There are many sites out there offering the opportunity to make money, not once have I found a suitable service that will help me gain financial independence. This is why I decided to start writing this Blog. I will be posting websites that I have personally used and tell you my experience about it. Without further ado let us take a look at the first company we will be
looking at; instantpaydaynetwork.com.

This website claims that you can make up to 4,267 $ a day. Don't believe me? check this snapshot from their website. As you can see, the first thing you will find in the  website is this grandiose claim and then it asks you to fill in your email address if you want to see the four step plan and find out more. Naturally, I filled in my email address and found out what the plan was. Basically they use third party websites to earn money. You will have to sign up for free trial offers on the third party sites to receive 1 credit so that you can refer people to these services and products so that you'll start making money. When you refer someone to express my cash freebies you will make $20 and for double you will make $30 giving you the fifty dollars totally. Hmmm it is starting to sound like a pyramid scheme, but let us continue.

Instant Payday Network claims that they will also give you a free marketing system, as well as free training to improve your marketing. However, I do not know if it worth my time and money in other to get some half-assed advice on how to sell your product. I might as well just google it, and probably get a better answer. Some people call it a scam because you might have to pay for some offers, as not all of them are not free. However, there are a lot of low cost offers and you might have to spend 10 dollars total if you do the right ones to get your full credit for both express and double. Your credit card will be charged for this offers and some people that aren't responsible think that these companies will let you know when your trial period ends so you can cancel your offers, but they won't (they let you know in the fine print and all that stuff). You have to keep track of what you signed up for and cancel when the trial period ends. People make this more complicated then it has to be, but you can email their customer support or call them and cancel. However, you have to participate in the full trial offer or the credits you earn might get revoked.

Overall, I would say that it is possible to make money using this system; however, this by no means a substantial way to earn an income. In fact, most likely you will just make a couple of bucks on the side and that is it. And what I mean by a couple of bucks is probably like 50$ per month, maybe less. Plus the costs you will incur during the procedures. Adding it all up will probably leave you with very little. Not worth the time and effort. Please leave comments below about your experience and suggest other online business services you would like me to review.
